'In the Shadow of the Colossus' is the bands third release and second full length album. The base is still intact with a mixture of metal and hardcore but on this release the band brings you something new with a greater variety in the sound that creates a bigger depth.
The album is written by everyone in the band, allowing new ideas and influences to leave a mark. The drums were recorded at Play Yard Studios in Stockholm. The guitars and bass were recorded separately in different home studios. Last of all, the vocals were recorded at Meshuggahs old Garageland Studios / Enhanced Audio Productions in Umeå by Ronnie Björnström (Aeon, Hate Ammo, Zonaria and Live Elephant etc) who also mixed and mastered the album. This giving the album a more dynamic and dirtier sound.
